Get Ready to Enter Nail Heaven

Have you ever wanted to try out all the luxurious nail polishes you see in magazines but your wallet doesn't quite agree with you? When it comes to fashion I always look for a good deal, waiting patiently for the end of the season sale or heading out to rummage for thrift store gold. However, like any classy lady I love to indulge when I can. In comes the fabulous Lacquerous! Ingenious, one of a kind, smart, and something that I really wish I thought of... for only $18/month you get a choice of three designer nail polishes.

Only four steps to nails that will have everyone complementing them:
One.  Request an invite to join the community.
Two.  Pick your favorites from Chanel, TOM FORD, Dior, ect.
Three.  They send you three of your faves to do yourself or bring to the salon
Four.  You keep for as long as you want and just send back in a pre-paid return packaging and then they send out your next set!

They have eight amazing brands they currently offer but I have a feeling that this number will quickly multiply once people discover Lacquerous!

Best of NYC Secrets via Refinery29

When it comes to being an New Yorker I am totally ashamed to say that I am most likely the laziest in terms of exploring this magnificent city.  I can tell myself that I don't go out in search of an adventure because I never have the time or that I'm always exhausted from work (which are actual and frequently used excuses), but I turn 24 in November and I need to get out more. I was instructed (by email I received this morning from Refinery29)to keep the following list of Best of NYC Secret Places to myself but sharing them with you will motivate me to go out and report back on their cool factor. Here are the ones that peaked my interest the most:

Antoinette, 119 Grand Street (between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue); BrooklynWilliamsburg Vintage Shop
Physical Graffitea, 96 St Marks Place (between First Avenue and Avenue A)
Tea
Retreat
Babel Fair, 260 Elizabeth Street (between Houston and Prince streets)
Rad Soho Boutique
The Upper Rust, 445 East 9th Street (at First Avenue)
Home Decor Haven

What are some of your favorite spots to check out on the weekend?

Pintrest Love

 Happy Thursday!
Now that the spring semester is over and I finally have some free time I am exploring the fascinating internet hub that is Pintrest and I'm completely obsessed already!
I will be honest and say that I didn't think I would be impressed with Pintrest, thinking that it would be very similar to tumblr, but I love that I could not have been more wrong. I love that on Pintrest you can group all of your favorite things together on a board ( my fashion, dream home, and trinkets boards are so beautifully unique). You can show case anything that you like that might cross your path on the internet (excluding explicit material) by utilizing the effortlessly simply pin it button that you have the option to download to your browser when you first access the site.
If you've got a profile I'd love to follow you and see what new things I can discover!
Here are some of my new favorite things
My boyfriend just got an incredible new camera and we are going on vacation next week! I've got some big plans percolating... I'm so excited for some very interesting things to come this summer <3

Here I Am!

Ugh, sorry about the disappearing act!!

So after starting to blog back in Sept/Oct of last year I was totally addicted, and I have been just as obsessed with everything fashion and trendsetting since then, BUT once I finished my medical leave from work I was thrown head first back into real life. I'm sure I don't have to tell you how much that sucks && how time consuming a regular routine truly is!

Regardless of my excuses, I'm back with new goodies to come!!

ps. I'm a red head again!
(I'll be back with pictures asap)
